I've installed it on 3 machines now and each time it freed up about 16GB worth of HD space. :thumbsup

Love vista. Only problem we've had is color profile issue which is supposed to be fixed shortly after sp1 release with a hotfix. :thumbsup

It's also available for download according to the article (which was linked to another story from News.com).

Neither article explain why in the hell it would be available on shelves and amazon.com

I have to disagree. Running it completly now, no issues other than color profile issues that has a hotfix coming out within a few weeks.

Dont worry that hotfix will break a few other things.

I've never used Vista...........I'll use it when I can't use XP any more

Got in on my machine since last night. First everything was slow as hell.. after a couple restarts it runs smooth like before. Didnt feel any changes at all after installing the service pack.

i stick to XP

been using vista for 6 month now and its one of the best window OS i have ever used

Tried it. Used it. Slipstreamed XP with SATA and other drivers required to load onto system. I'm happier with that.
