Running a board means you want to have posts, LOTSA POSTS.

If you add something that delays a post and FORCES people to look at an ad you bug people/posters.

Why would you want to do that?

they have a time limit between posts anyway, what's the difference?

Yes it's a smart move for GFY, they just created a new ad space for sale, which equals more revenue for GFY. And the time limit is 3 seconds, that page is not on my screen for more than 3 seconds, actually looking at the code it's there for 2.

Well it allows them another ad, that's how the money is made!

I'm not dissing GFY, I think they are maximizing revenues and that's what's business is all about.

Simple reason I was asking is I own a site that as a very busy board and I'm also looking at ways to maximize revs.
