I usually dont, but I may have to today since there is nothing else in my fridge.

I've got a left over Steak Burrito from TacoBell in the fridge. That's divine intervention that says I can eat meat, right?

I go out of my way to eat meat today.

Funny thing happened today. I ate it and after few hours read that today "it's not allowed" to do that. :error

Ahh... that's right... it's Good Friday.

Generally, I don't care one way or the other - but if I'm reminded of some tradition, or it's put before me - I'll generally try to abide by it unless it forces me to go out of my way.

So, instead of a beef steak tonight, I'll grill up a tuna steak! :)

Why research? I can visit my butcher and hell I picked out the damn calf and had it farm raised by a co-op farmer. Why would this ever stop me from eating hamburger again. I actually visit the butcher often as I did not get all the animals raised from near birth, just a calf and a pig.

I had sushi and sashimi tonight - the Maguro (Tuna) was pretty red...

Religious traditions and directives (as this isn't really a tradition since eating meat will get you 3 hail Marys)... are put in place for the idiots.

People that follow them are like dogs. Pretend you have a dog that doesn't know you are the alpha dog. It will treat you like a bitch. But if you give it some instruction it will fall back in line.

Now think about religious morons that don't eat meat on Friday. They needed someone to give their life a focus and this is that focus. Now they are good dogs.

I guess this makes me a bad dog.

nope.. today I hate 1pound of ground beef in my pasta and 3/4 of a pound of bacon and 4 eggs when I got hungry a little later.

That's just a Catholic thing, right?

I've been on a diet so I've been off beef for about a month anyway.
