Your 03 join date combined with these questions startles me. :2 cents:
The percentage of your internet service fee would be the percentage used for business usage. I personally can legally say its 100% and survive a strict audit. I have two internet lines coming into the house, with two different wireless connections. One if for personal use and one for business. Same goes for our phones. We each have a business line and then there is one personal line to share. Our cell phones are for business and are paid directly from our business account.
Of course since we use business accounts and they are what is tied to the e-payment methods I have no issue writting off those fee's. I also make damn fucking sure the accountant notes down every penny from e-payments, specially epassporte as it is offshore. We also do not intermingle funds.
Now some may write off 100% of their internet and only have say 1 internet account. Yet for some silly reason their bank records show them paying for a WoW account etc. That alone could be bad. Same with some dual usage on your house or apartment if not done very correctly. We personally have one room devoted purely to office stuff and that to can withstand scrutiny. I also do not try to stretch my write offs or get creative. My dog is not a security system, my vehicle only gets the actual documented and tracked milage, and so forth.
