Thats fucking bullshit. That lame ass studio had everything riding on Lord of the Rings and he made a masterpiece. The success has gone to their heads.

I think it will be even better than the first. Del Toro is sick. Pans Lanbryth and Kung Fu hustle are the only sub titled movies at the top of my favorites list.

Guillermo del Toro is a better director in my view...but then I am a huge fan of the films coming out of his region of world cinema.
