Htc 8925
Anyone have this phone? How is the wifi?
Thanks.:thumbsup |
My friend bought an HTC and haaaated it. Stay away.
|
Thanks for the quick response man. Many reasons or anything in particular?
|
Everything in particular really, poorly engineered, shitty software quirks, basic features you'd expect are missing.. Why not just get an iphone?
|
I was considering an iPhone as well but thought I would be open to other options as well... Thanks for the info, sounds terrible.
|
I have a Blackberry Curve, the new one with the glowing trackball on it..
It's pretty good, but the data plan here with my cell company is like +$40 a month for.... drumroll...... 7 megabytes. Fuuck that.. So now I have this fancy stupid phone I paid like $300 for and I just dial numbers with it.. Doh! Get the iphone, you won't be disappointed. |
It would be a lot better with the data plan.. You can use google maps on it for example, as it has GPS.. (iphone doesn't)
No Wifi though. http://www.itechnews.net/wp-content/...ry-Curve-2.jpg |
The Curve looks really nice. I was looking at one online that does have the wifi. That is kind of important so I can use it overseas without getting into too many sim cards or being charged up the ass. Is that the 8310?
That data plan sounds insane.... :-( |
IM glad this came up I was thinking about gettign an htc for the wifi, i dont want an iphone though. :)
|
I have a HTC TytnII and I love it, best phone I've ever had and it caters to all my needs (those are primarily internet, wireless, calendar, mail etc).
Don't know the model in question though. |
