NosMo

I had an issue with one coder who scammed many members on GFY.

And the other was regretted to inform me he lost interest in the project for 5 months.

I dont see why that needed to be said but there you go.
I do not have time for people to joke around i need this done.

Fap 03-30-2008 02:36 PM

hit me up, might be cheaper to modify my system to your needs. In its earliest forms it was an arcade system that well morphed into a movie script then I worked in some special adult tools. I'm planning on getting a template together that is more arcade specific and getting some tools for that market together.

brandonstills 03-30-2008 06:11 PM

I specialize in CMS and CRM solutions. I'll hit you up.

gornyhuy 03-31-2008 07:25 AM

I hate working on other peoples 80% finished shit code.
You know the 80/20 rule? You spend 80% of your time on the last 20% of the job. Guess which part is left for me to salvage. :*(

Fap 03-31-2008 05:20 PM

found someone, thank you for all applicants

Fap 04-10-2008 08:35 PM

I guess i shouldnt have trusted a coder that barely speaks english..

Need someone else PRONTO
Hit me up!

GrouchyAdmin 04-10-2008 08:39 PM

A few programmers might come out of the woodwork if you post a small example of what there is to work with within [code] tags. Considering some of the stuff that I'm asked to work with.. I know I ain't gonna volunteer to take over someone else's mess.

Tempest 04-10-2008 08:45 PM

I find this very humurous...

I said already "Well its a CMS that is about 75% coded, not a HUGE CMS.

If you have any interest hit me up.

The question isn't how much, but how. I've seen shit like:
echo file_get_contents($_GET[file]);

Patching up and replacing shit like that is going to be worse than making the other 25% work. Thats why nobody wants to do it. If you give a sample of what the people would have to work with, they might be a bit more open to it. We've all been burned before, be gentle. :pimp

Fap 04-10-2008 08:58 PM

Grouchy, if you are saying you are intereste dhit me up.. i dont know what kind of sample to show.
Im pressed for time here

GrouchyAdmin 04-10-2008 09:02 PM

I'm not really, no. Taking over someone else's code always sucks. Always. I'm just trying to be helpful and give you a few bumps and reasons why we don't want it.

sounds about right :thumbsup

Realistically dude unless this is some really expensive project, you are probably better off just getting it coded from scratch... It may look like 75% done to you, but more likely than not, it's more like 50% done, probably full of bugs and design flaws which will cost you an arm and a leg to fix at this point (assuming you actually even manage to find someone desperate enough to work on someone else's code)...

Ive had people look it over they say the current code is clean.

Fap 04-10-2008 11:24 PM

found someone.. crossing my fingers...

Tempest 04-11-2008 01:09 AM

High probability banthis will be back within a couple weeks asking the same thing...
