Trying to get stuff off and they want with their dmca a physical address and a phone number. This is the first time this has come up. Their in Ca, what would you do?

Several of the file sharing sites ask for that when you put in a DMCA. I have used a fake address and phone number in the past with no problem, but I wouldn't be worried about providing the correct info...

I forgot to mention that you should download the file and make sure it is your actual content, and not a text file with Rapidshare links for the actual download. I have never figured out why this is, but I often see that people that use Badongo will actually upload a text file with Rapidshare links in it to actually download the content. I think they do it to protect their links from showing up in search engines...

You want them to be legitimate and remove copyrighted material, but you are afraid to be legitimate yourself and prove you are the copyright holder?

I dont know who the fuck they are and what they are going to do with that info. My wife wrote them from the address of site,so they know its real. They have my shit now god knows who the fuck this is. Im supposed to trust them. Hello are you new to the internet? lol

Get one of those ups mailbox etc type addys. Or just put in a fake one.

this is mark from Marks' Book-mark.net afaik he used to own it a couple of years ago

If I remember correctly the logo for that site was created here at GFY in a contest thread.
