Not hopping on the bandwagon, but the sopranos was one of the best TV shows... ever... on any channel. There was American Gothic (pretty sure that was the title) but that one got pulled waaaay too early. :(

I liked the first season of "Six Feet Under." After that it turned into some craptacular drama.

1-The wire 2-Oz 3- Curb your enthusiasm 4- sopranos

The Wire. Every season was great.

Sopranos. Had several mediocre and even bad seasons. Still a great show.

Entourage. Lots of fun.

Deadwood. A bit of a learning curve, but well worth it.

Rome was pretty damn awesome. Maybe just because they ended it when they should have. I spent 80% of the last 3 seasons of the Sopranos sleeping after loving the first years.

I would rank up near the top the following: Wire, Oz, Deadwood (still pissed), Rome, Tales from the Crypt, 1st and ten as Eric also posted, and well that is excluding all mini series or for that matter catching and also recording at the time the first release of Heavy Metal which was an amazing movie at that time and made me a shit load of money from friends who borrowed my copies.


Edit- Yes I left one off my list on purpose. It fell way short last few seasons.

I forgot Dream On.

I haven't seen half the shows mentioned above but my vote is for Rome.

Look at all the votes for the Sopranos, yet in their final 2 seasons I never saw so many people complaining the show sucked as I did here. Something's amiss. :D

Oz was pretty damn good in it's day. I remember seeing a few episodes of 1st and 10, that was good too.

I'd have to say Entourage gets my vote, for right now anyway.
