For 1- 2 TB of traffic for tgp stuff you can find a suitable server at Swift Communications for $75/month! :)

Cheers!

1000 GB

Typically the best plan would be around a five Mbps plan... for 1 left click TB, that is.

Techie Media 04-14-2008 06:46 PM

TidalWave

Whats the difference between that and

P4 2.8Ghz, 512KB Cache 1GB DDR 120GB PATA 5 Usable 100 Mbps 2000GB $79

Why the big price difference?

Cash 04-15-2008 01:41 AM

Dream Host
$7.95/month for around 2000 GB bandwidth, unlimited domains and subdomains, 1 FREE domain registration included in the price, 200 GB disk storage!

HunkyLuke 04-15-2008 07:10 AM

dual core processor
1 GB RAM
2x120 GB disks RAID1
free 60GB backup service
@5Mbps (~1200-1500GB/mo) $199/mo
@10Mbps (~2500-3000GB/mo) $399/mo

--> [email protected] or [email protected] for more info or a custom quote or to order this.

Ycaza 04-15-2008 09:39 AM

easy language here. all new servers, remember most of the low price deals here are for machines that are 2 years old or better. My experience is 12 years in the business but the company is new, so no old hardware.

p4 2 gig 80 1500 Gb/mo dedicated 85/mo

p4 2 gig 80 1500 Gb/mo dedicated with panel 105/mo

p4 2 gig 80 1500 Gb/mo managed 125/mo

want a better server?

I have dual xeons,

raid boxes

etc

rio,

the one i quoted is a 10Mbps Unmetered bandwidth server, the one above is 2000GB of transfer. The difference is in the amount of bandwidth + the specs are also higher.
Up to you which you prefer though! :)

Paparazzi 04-15-2008 02:26 PM

I recommend Techie Media :thumbsup They host my tgp galls, freesites, linklist etc.

Can someone post a quote of the monthly fee for up to 2000Gb of transfers. I am not interested in the unmetered 5/10Mbps setups. I just want to pay per transfer + overages. I don't want a slow server at times.

As I mentioned above in my post, hit me up and i will give you a quote that will not be beaten. With the grand opening of our newest Data Center and New offices we are giving away some VERY aggressive deals this month. My icq and email are in my sig.:2 cents:

Dude, I've been with Techiemedia for several years now and the bottom line is that these guys are 1 of the best in the biz. Old school hosting gurus with support that is 2nd to None. The way they bill (well me at least) is on actual usage so I only pay for what I use each month, so if I do 82 megs I pay for 82 and next month if i use 71.5 I pay 71.5 It's a sweet deal. Give Jim a hollar like he posted above. I also am beta testing their CDN and so far it blows the doors off of level3 even though they use level3 for bandwidth their cdn is much better imho.:2 cents:

spideriux 04-16-2008 02:43 PM

check out HostGator
