Do you think anything other than a .com is really worth it?

The Canadian Internet Registration Authority is marking both 20 years of the .ca domain and the one millionth URL registered to it. The first one was upei.ca, registered in 1988.

Brent Krause of Calgary registered the one-millionth .ca domain name, krauslaw.ca, and is using it for a website to promote his private law practice.

im still paying $25 for .ca's for f's sake....anyone know any cheaper reliable places to buy em?

Ray I have seen a few like www.10dollar.ca never used them but a few mentioned that they are ok ,another could be Netfirms at $9.95

it seems to me they are not for sale, but for lease (yearly). DAM.. some of those prices...

Id still like to know if people think anything other than a .com is really worth it and if so why?

Wouldnt you lose a lot of traffic from people who simply type in .com without thinking ?
