Would love to see the Reds win. They might not be good in the premier league, but they are always in the finals of Champions Leauge, unlike the chocking Man U with their huge yankee like roster.

That's the thing. For me, the winner of the Champions League should mean you are one of the best, if not the best team in Europe.

Liverpool clearly are not, as they can't even come close to winning the English league. They struggle to finish in the top 3 most years.


I blame UEFA for that though. The Champions League should be for "Champions". The top 4 teams in England, Spain etc all enter the Champions League stage. So thats the reason why we now have teams who can't even win their own domestic league championships, becoming "Champions Of Europe". It's all wrong... :2 cents:

It is the "Champions League" after all. So how can you call it fair. It used to be champions only for years, then they changed it. For more money.

The team who used to win the European Cup were rightly called "the best in Europe". Not now. Not when teams who finish around 30 points behind in the domestic league win the thing...

Liverpool looks to have it in control. I haven't seen a good quality chance by Chelsea yet.
