McCain - look at the ways this cocksucker has changed in 8 years

People don't change a whole lot after they are in their 60's (now 70's). He will say ANYTHING!

* The old McCain didn?t want an amendment and didn?t want Roe overturned. The new McCain completely disagrees with the old McCain.
* McCain criticized TV preacher Jerry Falwell as ?an agent of intolerance? in 2002, but has since decided to cozy up to the man who said Americans ?deserved? the 9/11 attacks. (Indeed, McCain has now hired Falwell?s debate coach.)
* McCain used to oppose Bush?s tax cuts for the very wealthy, but he reversed course in February.
* In 2000, McCain accused Texas businessmen Sam and Charles Wyly of being corrupt, spending ?dirty money? to help finance Bush?s presidential campaign. McCain not only filed a complaint against the Wylys for allegedly violating campaign finance law, he also lashed out at them publicly. In April, McCain reached out to the Wylys for support.
* McCain supported a major campaign-finance reform measure that bore his name. In June, he abandoned his own legislation.
* McCain used to think that Grover Norquist was a crook and a corrupt shill for dictators. Then McCain got serious about running for president and began to reconcile with Norquist.
* McCain took a firm line in opposition to torture, and then caved to White House demands.
* McCain gave up on his signature policy issue, campaign-finance reform, and won?t back the same provision he sponsored just a couple of years ago.
* McCain was against presidential candidates campaigning at Bob Jones University before he was for it.
* McCain was anti-ethanol. Now he?s pro-ethanol.
* McCain was both for and against state promotion of the Confederate flag.
* And now he?s both for and against overturning Roe v. Wade.
*Since McCain knows nothing about the economy he was going to continue along the Clinton path in 2000. Now he says there is no reason to deviate from the Bush economic plan.

They're all a bunch of crooks. If you believe one of them you might as well believe all of them, since they're all full of shit. :2 cents:

Um how so?

Why not everyone votes, or better yet pay attention at the local level before the real ass hats can rise to a national level.

Fuck that. People doing that is what has fucked up things so much here. Want to make a change? Pledge to not vote for any Democrat or Republican. Vote for any 3rd party candidate instead. We need to rip apart this 2 party system that has a stranglehold on our country. :2 cents:

Part of the problem is not enough people vote! This is why bible thumpers can sway elections. They are organized and turn out in droves to vote.

Sadly the street runs both ways with this one. Bible thumpers trying to save souls and the liberals trying to save the world for this and that. While both are neglecting the lose of freedoms in this country

Precisely. Look what happened to Ron Paul.

Since I get my news from GFY, is Ron Paul still running?

Mccain is a traitor to his own people. He is even lower on my list than the Clinton garbage. Vote Obama.

While I don't disagree with you, I still think "bible thumpers" are more organized and more likely to vote and thus considerably more powerful as far as groups with an agenda are concerned.

While I don't agree with him on every issue, Ron Paul is the only major party candidate I would ever vote for right now. He's still technically in the race, but he doesn't quite have enough delegates at this point :1orglaugh

IllTestYourGirls 04-22-2008 05:24 PM

Obama is save the world candidate, he'll stop global warming, he will give everyone healthcare, he will feed the hungry around the word, he will bomb countries with "human rights violations" ect, and he seems to be pretty organized and ready to push his liberal fascist agenda on the people.

(I say "he will" meaning he will tax, borrow, and print money at the citizens expense)

I agree. I'm not an Obama fan and most of the aforementioned "bible thumpers" are not a fan of McCain, who many of them view as a Liberal.

Shoehorn! 04-22-2008 05:30 PM

For those of you who are saying "more people need to vote," please educate yourselves and read about the Electoral College and what it does. :2 cents:

Obama doesn't believe in universal healthcare. Thats the only thing better about him than Hil. Where do you get your misinformation?

The real questions here is where do you get your misinformation?

Every American should have universal health care coverage within six years, Democratic Sen. Barack Obama said Thursday as he set an ambitious goal soon after jumping into the 2008 presidential race.

"The time has come for universal health care in America," Obama said at a conference of Families USA, a health care advocacy group.

"I am absolutely determined that by the end of the first term of the next president, we should have universal health care in this country," the Illinois senator said.

And the quotes can go on and on and on...looks like you?re the only one misinformed. You can go to his website and find the "BACKGROUND QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
ON HEALTH CARE PLAN" and is lays out his plan for a universal health care plan for America.

The difference is Clinton wants to make it illegal NOT to have insurance. Check out Romneys state to see how small biz fares when that shit happens. Under the Clinton plan you will get fined if you cant afford to cover yourself. What happens when you cant pay for either? To jail? Sounds greeeeeaaaat.

VOTE OBAMA

Gouge 04-22-2008 08:41 PM

To tell the truth I don?t care that much about either of there health care plans seeing how both are Bolshevik Social Democrats and want to redistribute wealth...the only real differences between them are gender and skin color.

I'm not trying to say anything bad about Vets, but this guy spent a while in a concentration camp. Do we really want him near the nukes the next time a 9/11 type of attack occurs.

I like the fact that he wants to kill all the terrorist, but do you really want to vote for a guy who may have a few screws lose.

What your saying is a moot point when you have Clinton saying this yesterday on Good Morning America.

Q: Chris Cuomo asked Clinton what she would do if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weapons.

A: ?I want the Iranians to know that if I?m the president we will attack Iran,? Clinton said. ?In the next ten years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them.?

Barack Hussein Obama would most likely do nothing or at best sit down with someone to talk it over.

V_RocKs 04-23-2008 12:58 AM

The only real question here is why didn't someone high up on the Democratic chain tell Obana and Hillary that only one of them will run and that is that. If you don't like it, get the fuck out of our party!

snaker 04-23-2008 01:11 AM

I hate Mccain...

Not for his views or policies...but because he divorced his wife and married a fucking billionar heiress, this is THEE only reason he is even in office! He is the richest candidate on the block

McCain has sold our State down the river with his lying flip flop attitude. He will say anything to get a vote....typical politician. And he won't be getting my vote.

StuartD 04-23-2008 06:58 AM

What's sad is that none of them are good candidates.
In a country of 300 million, how can you not get ONE good person to be president??

VOTE OBAMA

The thing is many people CAN cover themselves they CHOOSE not to and expect the taxpayer to pay for their medical care.

There are people that make $50,000 a year and claim they can't afford health care and yet have nice 55 inch big screen TV and drive a Lexus.

pornguy 04-23-2008 07:26 AM

The US will never be fixed until the person in the WHITE house has NEVER been a politician before.

I have a friend he is a career soldier. He said he wont vote for Mccain he spent too much time in a pow camp.He wouldnt trust him.

And thats none of the goverments biz. Why the fuck should our goverment steal a shit load of our tax money and then DEMAND we buy insurance from a bunch of crooks at a HUGE price and if you dont, you pay a FUCKING FINE...if you dont pay that, well then you go to jail. Just because you make 50,000. a year doesnt mean you should be REQUIRED to pay health insurance. Oh yeah, i forgot that we dont live in a free country any more. let me check with GWB to see if im able to take a shit now.
