I noticed a big increase in traffic after installing wp-cache.

This is probably due to the fact that my larger blogs no longer take 20 seconds to load a page. In fact, the load time is now less than 2 seconds...

The biggest thing to note from that article is that the author is running a Windows server. Anyone running on a windows server has no business talking about the efficiency of anything.
