I actually had to look for it. I saw typography on it's side. Then, I remembered how lonely most people are that I know who live in the UK.

While I agree that it may sound outrageous, I think one of the comments posted there pretty much nailed it:

This isn't online porn design we're talking about, these firms can easily have to keep redoing the same damn logo over and over again for weeks, before the client is happy. Thus they bill accordingly.
