I can see it.

Well all of those companies were really bad..

Sharper image was the only one that kind of suprises me

Circuit City was a good company too

First are you kidding? They really did suck and only cared about selling expanded warranties.

On side note I thought blockbuster or someone just bought them.

Circuit City bought Radio Shack and now they're out of biz too? Sheesh.

I am surprised by Linens & things. I thought that was an off-brand of a bigger store, much like Winners.

We prefer Best Buy for the simple reason that the employees at Best Buy do not get a commission.

I always thought Circuit City was overpriced.

Doesn't necessarily mean they will be closing.

I'm sad about Sharper Image...They had so many cool, albeit mildy useless, gadgets.

The Best Buy over here forces employees to sell warranties for commission...

Best Buy use to be good, now its a retail high price store with less product than ever
and omg the line waiting is ridiculous, average checkout time is like 25 minutes..
You stand there and watch 1-2 cashiers work slowly and 15 employees all around them doing nothing. God forbid someone has a BIG TV, or a computer in front of you

Neither does Circuit city, non com for 5 years or so.

I like Best Buy better. Circuit city sucks ass.

If I shop around, it's online. When it comes to stores, I don't bother with that stuff.

I bet most of them will stay open... restructure.

Exactly. Very cool shit, but more or less useless, with a high price tag. Doesn't really work when folks start going to Walmart or Target for the same stuff.

That's just the beginning, many more will go under, as more and more people choose to shop online....

I can't find a link anywhere that says Circuit City has filed bankruptcy. Just talk of a possible sale to BlockBuster, although Blockbuster has yet to prove they have the cash.
