JOE FRANCIS RELEASES MODEL ID'S NOW??? (Ashley Dupre's)

I don't know if you guys saw the video & story, but Francis now releases Ashley Dupre's Model ID to defend himself. I thought offering that up to the public is a big No No. Has he further put himself out there on the chopping block?? Comments?

I know as a content provider, I would have my ass handed to me in here if I ever released a Model's ID publically like he did.

Kelli58 04-29-2008 03:07 PM

I'm not sure on this because earlier this year I know a few affiliate programs were offering the model release data including a copy of the model's ID with their downloadable galleries so that they too may be in compliance with the 2257 regulations. I found it WAY creepy but nobody else seemed to care. I was just waiting for the story to come out about how some stalker found <insert porn star name here> because of this practice.

So really how is this any different?

I mean she is after all telling the world he is a liar, he's just defending himself. I say fuck her and her bogus ass lawsuit.

Does it matter? They knew she was 17 because they sent her on a bus home when they found out.

aico 04-29-2008 03:09 PM

Ya, cuz nobody knows her real identity.

GGW will get out of it...

I think in the US what he's done is unethical but not illegal - in Canada he'd be breaking privacy laws for sure.

I'm also wondering if someone DID have naked pics of her (when she was 18 or older) and promoted it, how many extra sign-ups do you think that program would get??

this shit shit is deep

If someone was suing me for 10 million and I could prove she was of age, or the legal info she provided us was saying she was 18, I'd give it up too.

But I'd make sure I did it legally and the right way.

Honestly this has been going on with content sales for a decade. Was just a big hoopla over last two years, specially since people love to cling to shit and pretend outrage over it. Nobody however even made a whimper when it was just the way things were done, yet once government said boogie boo about affiliates needing documents presto its now an issue.

I can see content providers giving it to content buyers for their assurance that everything is above board, but to release it to the GENERAL PUBLIC??

I guess that barrier between being able to sign up for free to an affiliate program and spending 5.00 with a content provider via an anonymous payment method to get the models info is sufficient. My bad.

Good one. Does seem hypocritical, doesn't it.
