GFY beginning to resemble other adult webmaster boards
 

same threads hanging around on the first page for days

used to be even a well viewed thread could drop of the front page in a couple of hours

When I first got here, I had difficulties folowing the flow of threads, there was too many I wanted to read.

Now every hour I refresh and it's about the same threads as the hour before.

SET me up and I'll GO

More going on at the Pimp Board.

It's a wasteland now. Not a lot of good business here. Just competitions and spam.

I blame it on the Tube sites.

Yeah, it's been slowing down. A lot of people exiting the industry and new ones entering. It'll level out.

It's also pretty annoying how you guys copy and paste your same thread on all the webmaster forums.

One thing I noticed.

Alot of new nicks being made doing nothing but talking stupid shit. Obviously former posters hiding.

Or worse yet, maybe newer webmasters that are even dumber and more beligerant than the previsous generation. Its not going to be good times for the biz seems webmasters just keep getting more and more retarded each passing year.

This past weekend I shaved my head bald, I took a picture, and posted it on all of the boards I post on. On every board I had a different title for my thread, and every thread was different for each board.....

Our industry has just become lazy, that's all.

Not compared to here of course, but definitely compared to SetGo.

They need to weed out the surfers and the trouble makers.

A better webmaster experience would attract more webmasters and make more $$$$$$$$.

Why not let ONLY Industry people in here ? Screen new users when they register and ban the "young mommy basement" surfer who are here only for dramas and don't care about the industry and business anyways. Of course there would be less people, but I always preferred Quality over Quantity :)

That's what happens when controversial people are banned. Before Playboy owned the board, "anything goes" was the attitude. Now people are banned for talking shit about others, especially if those others are on a bro level with management.

Too many people who helped move the board along got banned.

I've definitely noticed an increase in contest threads and promo threads. I still think GFY is the best adult board though. All the other boards are way over moderated and boring.

Slower and more boring than usual... I however cut on my posting on pretty much all boards and try to focus on more important stuff. Maybe the GFY masters with take this opportunity to renew themselves.

Might be the reason why people post more on other boards. This place is stagnant at times.

Nothing new really happens in the industry anymore. "I got a gallery on the Hun!" used to be a WOW HOLY SHIT! type thread that you just had to click. Now, who cares?

Forbid the board run slow, rather than have the grandstanding, attention whoring, bullshit, and 45000 Juicy posts in an hour.. after all, those all lead up to business.
