Im at 13%... Xbox360. Not much gamerpoint yet. But I like it.
I love to drive around in those big ass pimp SUV's (Range Rover HSE Sport?)

but the game is not that WOW! I had the previous version with the mercedes/bmw/ all kind of nice cars..

I'm just a bit behind you and enjoying it so far.

Haven't put in any "serious" playtime as of yet, but am hoping to free up some time tonight.

Licensed vehicles have never been part of GTA, unless you're referring to a modded PC version.

I haven't actually been playing the story... i've just been driving around and shooting shit.

Anybody having the freezing issue. I'm picking up a copy tomorrow but the gamer boards seem to have a lot of complaints about the game freezing.

How do you play online? I still haven't figured that out yet.

I have the PS3 version which seems to be having the issues, and so far I haven't come across anything.

I was pretty disappointed in the game. All hype, no substance. It's another Halo 3. Great if you're an easily amused teenage boy.

Opening it up now - if it is anything close to San Andreas and the last episode - I wont be dissapointed.

cheats are no fun until 1-2 months after you get the game, i remember when i pulled that on gta vice cities and totally lost my mojo when i tried to play the game legit

I just been messin with those cheat codes, ha ha, the handeling kinda stinks though more like a car sim feel.

just trying to ruin it for everyone, since I don't play games :)

microsoft will have a fix for it soon available in the next windows update, its there trademark

I kinda like the big hummers they handle like crap but for some reason i like them :pimp

Multiplayer is cool played a few times with some mates no parachutes though which is a disappointment i found this out after jumping out a black hawk chopper lol :1orglaugh

22.03% on Xbox360. Spent more time playing multiplayer. My crew are in the top 100 worldwide.

Find a chopper, fly it to happiness island, jump out so you're at the base of the statue of liberty (Where her feet are) and go through the door that says "NO EXTRA CONTENT THROUGH HERE" and climb the ladder.

I have the PS3 version and have had no problems whatsoever. Been playing since I got it yesterday. Playing on the 40GB version by the way...all of the reports for the PS3 GTA freezing is on the 60GB, no others.

By the way, I just finished off Vlad and Little Jacob. :)

I've only just started it. I don't even know how far I am. Haven't had any freezing as of yet.

As far as the hype is concerned. I agree that it's pretty much the same as all the other ones just with better graphics, faster load times, etc. But I think everyone knew that would be the case. In vids they never reinvent themselves in the same franchise. Look at Ea Sports as an example. They always just make improvements and add new features.

So far I think the story is pretty decent and the faster load times really help. I like that you can set the gps and it will give you the route. I hated always having to pause the old ones and look at the map. Autosave is a great feature as well, always hated having to go back home to save since it was largely a waste of time.

This is about where I am too. I'm enjoying it. It's what I expected and I've had no issues, so no disappointment here.
