I have just started to check it out, looks good but what are the advantages of using feedburner on your blog ?

Getting subscribers ? What more ...

i doubt it has any real advantage over simply having a popular blog :)

Feedburner its great and my visitors really like the email update option. You can find it under the Publicize tab.

I've used it but it seems like a way to just brag about how many visitors you have on your site. I would like to get subscribed people but it's not like a mainstream blog, so I think using any feed (yours or feedburner) + their email option works best.

It has very good stats

not somuch bragging as just liking that i can keep an eye on my subscribers
