Should I get a McDonalds sundae or go insinde store to buy real ice cream?

Its 11 pm and I have a weird craving for something sweet but I don't have anything here. Should I just go to the Mcdonalds drive thru and get a sundae (easiest because I don't have to go out of my car) or should I just suck it up and walk inside the grocery store so I can get Hagen Dazs etc? I'm kind of lazy... I don't know if I feel like walking inside and standing in line.

Are there any other fast food places that have good sundaes/ice cream at this time?

GrouchyAdmin 05-02-2008 11:24 PM

Try some sweet and salty chex mix. Less calories, and a little bit of stuff good for you.

I would have to go to the store, dont have any of that at home. but i crave ice cream, it has to be ice cream, frozen yogurt is ok, but it has to be ice cream'ish... My cravings are strong, I can't substitute late night ice creams with chex... im so lazy tho, its cold outside and late. should i just sleep and wait for the craving to go away ? :(

I kind of like the wendys frosties. Unless you have a dairy queen.

GrouchyAdmin 05-02-2008 11:27 PM

Then I'd go with the frostee. I'm craving booze like mad, so I grabbed some Chex. :error

there is no wendy's close to me. Nearest wendy's is 5.74 miles away. I'm lazy and don't feel like going on a road trip, thats a 10 min drive just to go to wendy's. I don't want to drive more than 5 min... I'm lazy.

Dont know if they are open but KFC has parfaits and stuff.
Jack n the box has a oreo shake and some other stuff.
Taco bell has like churros and apple empanadas.
BK has no clue.
DQ is full or everything frozen.
Sonics has tons of deserts as well. I like slushies as well as banana splits.

yay thank u.. yea all those places have shakes... churros are good too. i might suck it up and just go inside the grocery store, just to grab ice cream, im not sure. im spontaneous, i have to drive there first and if i feel like it at that exact moment then i'll go in, but if i change my mind im just gonna go to a drive thru... im impulsive... im leaving in 5 min

GrouchyAdmin 05-02-2008 11:48 PM

You could be back with the food by now..

WiredGuy 05-02-2008 11:52 PM

I was getting ready, I haven't left yet. I just finished getting ready. Yes I have to get ready just to go out to get food :helpme

StuartD 05-02-2008 11:55 PM

I agree with the McFlurry... it's the next best thing to getting some DQ. If there's a DQ within range, go there.

this thread pretty much contradicts that....

but on topic I prefer ben and jerrys to the sundaes...or the dreamery stuff...but of course fresh pack is much better than the grocery ones.

After Shock Media 05-03-2008 12:01 AM

Also blue bunny ice cream kicks the shit out of hagen daze (spelling), ben and jerry's, dryers, and everything else.

bausch 05-03-2008 12:02 AM

im about to leave, just looking at nutritional info but mcflurry has so many calories like 500-600 calories a serving, wtf. whats so good about it, isnt it just a milkshake?

GrouchyAdmin 05-03-2008 12:02 AM

Fuck you all. I want ice cream now, and my gut has recently decided to not get along with lactose. :(

tony286 05-03-2008 12:04 AM

Ice cream with stuff in it, like Oreos or M&M's... kinda like blizzards from DQ but not as good.

I'm afraid I don't have any of that around here. There's a TCBY about 15 miles away, and it's closed.

Jim_Gunn 05-03-2008 12:11 AM

Bausch, is it really an efficient use of your time and of an industry message board to debate every one of life's little daily decisions including whether you feel like getting up to go get some ice cream at a particular moment in time, LOL?

It is a brand in almost every store, not a location. Hell go to their site first and print a coupon too. :winkwink:

"Moose Tracks" is still kind of a new thing here. Never heard of Blue Bunny. :(

From his posts and by all appearances, Bausch is a blight on humanity, and should seriously back away from the internet, or perhaps consider suicide.

Just another sad GFY troll that has no apparent ties to anything in the adult biz. :disgust

haagen dazs or other, bad idea, because you will end up eating the whole container and you will feel very tired and drained later on in the day, way too much sugar calories

if you must, I would suggest an ice milk cone from dairy queen, they seem to be more on the healthy milk side rather than on the sugar side of things :2 cents:

TidalWave 05-03-2008 03:24 PM

i had some Baskin Robbins last night.. first time in a long time i had ice cream, man it was good :)

i feel like going back today even :D

Why do people post stupid shit like this?

Mutt 05-03-2008 03:53 PM

bausch is female - she's not a troll, just a girl.

it's a messageboard - sticks and stones blah blah blah

knowing her the least bit of criticism and she'll be contemplating suicide or never coming back to GFY

I think she just changes names after a while.

Frosty from Wendy's, nothing can beat that, not even DQ
