Building Manager: DC Madam's Death Not Suicide

Quote:

The building manager, who did not want to show his face, talked with Palfrey Monday before she left for her mother's in Tarpon Springs. He strongly believes Palfrey's death was not a suicide.

"Jean Palfrey was a class act. She wore very good clothes. She was well educated. Her way out of this world certainly would not have been in an aluminum shed attached to a mobile home in Tarpon Springs, Florida," he said.

she was murdered

jail scares the siht out of alot of people and some would rather die. When you think about it, she would get out when she was 60.What prospects would she have?

Not sure why a person planning to commit suicide in a few days would worry about taking care of their condo for six years while they are in prison, or bother to pack several bags of clothes for a trip...and remember she had served jail-time before.

I'm pretty skeptical that this was a straight up suicide.

First thing that came to mind , when I heard this, is.......someone got their revenge :2 cents:

There are 3 choices
a) With the system
b) Not with the system
3) Indifferent

When you fuck with the system and it's members that's when you are fucked

U.S. Suicide Statistics (2004)
Suicide Methods by Gender

Men - Number of Suicides (25,566 total)

Firearms 56.8% 14,523
Hanging 23.4% 5,980
Poisons 12.5% 3,200
All other methods 7.3% 1,863

Women - Number of Suicides (6,873 total)

Poisons 37.8% 2,600
Firearms 32.4% 2,227
Hanging 19.7% 1,356
All other methods 10.0% 690
In the DC Madame case, this is the second suicide by hanging of a woman. Sounds like a modus operandi of a killer more than a coincidental uncommon method of suicide.

If Paltry's reason for suicide was to avoid going to jail, you would think she would wait until it was closer to her time to report to jail, and that she might live it up in the meantime. She was not scheduled for sentencing until July 24th (almost three months away)...

The fact that she didn't send out her full client list before her death should raise the largest suspicions.

Women like her should send their client lists to all media outlets the instant that they're charged. Let the world know that you're being tried by the same people that paid for your services. You're going to spend at least some time in prison and possibly get shanked. Revealing your client list may actually protect you - people will know the names of those who might want to have you picked off.

That's the thought that should be given with this matter..
Some high up folks may have thought that's what might happen..

Most likely not suicide, but I doubt that it'll be investigated to any extent..

crockett 05-03-2008 05:10 PM

Yea I agree, it's pretty damn fishy IMO. This is just they type of thing that screams conspiracy. Lets hope she was smart enough to put the list into someone else's hand just in case something happened. I'm sure she must have at least thought of the possibly of being taken out for what she knows.
