Mimimum bids in Yahoo's PPC

what's up with that?

been always 10 cents minimum bid, then I got several messages about an upcoming change, now I think the change has been made already, but still... setting my bids lower than 10 cents seems impossible (for adult keywords/campaigns at least).

They even invited the advertisers to attend some seminar about it, but I didn't bother... figured it can't be too complicated... guess I was wrong :helpme

As you may have already heard, minimum bids for Sponsored Search are no longer fixed at $.10. Your new Sponsored Search minimum bids can be lower or higher than $.10, depending on the value and quality of that keyword.

To make sure that you fully understand this key change, we invite you to attend a free upcoming webinar exclusively for our advertisers. This session is designed to tell you everything you need to know about the pricing change...

it's not complicated ... if a keyword has a lot of people bidding on it then it will have a higher minimum bid. I guess it's to keep down keyword algo management requirements. Why use resources to take into consideration low bids if most bids are above a particular thresh hold?

I'd rather set my bids at $0.10 instead of bidding on a word all by myself at Google to have them say "Please increase the quality or increase the price to $1.00" for the term "hookers smoke ass crack" or something dumb like that.

Seems like most adult bids can't be set lower than $0.10 unfortunately....
