Who has ever used DIRECTOR? I need to convert it

I found an old director file I made that made me laugh. I want to covert it to a format my friends can play in their dvd players. Who knows how?

What is the actual file extension of the file you wanna convert?

Kard63 05-04-2008 11:54 AM

Nah, cant help... I have a pretty decent paid for conversion program that does most files but I dont see either of those in the options...

why not just copy the .exe file and let them play it on their comps?

I used director when I was in college. I wish I could help.

My only suggestion would be to play the file on your computer, and feed it to DVR or VCR. i don't know if the latest version of Flash or director can open each other's files. That could be another option if you haven't tried it.

well I assumed since you "made it" you know how to use Director, so why don't you open the .dir file in Director and export it as a quicktime movie.. I am sure your friends will enjoy your "funny" little movie over and over with their DVD players much more than watching it on their computers... not.
