MacBook / MacBook ??
I probably can't afford a MacBook Pro, so I'm guess that I am more in the market for a MacBook. Having said that, where can I find one at a fair price (- few hundred dollars)?
Ebay isn't a site I go to, because the risks involved with 'as-is' things... most without a warranty. I AM LOOKING FOR A CHEAP MACBOOK (newer preferred). I need lots of ram. |
Amazon? Apple's Student discount program?
|
are you in Cali?

|
No, I am in Missouri (misery, hah).

Apple student discount is pretty easy to scam if you can photoshop up a course schedule.
Also, check out their refurb store, you'll find MB's for $200-300 off w/1yr warranty. |
sold out!

Brand new, will end in 2 hours: http://cgi.ebay.com/APPLE-MACBOOK-PR...QQcmdZViewItem
MacBook Pro - $900 |
I bought refurbished 23" cine screens via apple... no problem whatsoever and the discount was great.
I bought a PowerBook G4 via eBay.. works great. Battery had to be replaced after a year (which I also found on ebay for a ton less than via apple). With a seller that has strong feedback on eBay, I wouldn't be scared of it at all. |

check craigslist

already tried that... everyone on craigslist thinks their items are worth 2x's more than they paid (cars, real estate, computers, etc.)
