i think the owner fed traffic from his other sites. Tubes grow themselves really easily...

Feed from other sites and tubes gain bookmarkers like a motherfucker.

On top of that... spamming links to a shitload of other sites.

he did in fact fed it from his other sites

....and once he had fed it with his own traffic it he gained an insane amount of bookmarkers and now the site probably markets its self thru word of mouth.
