Please be creative in doing layouts. Any entries submitted that are just a copy of these will not be accepted.

All you have to do is these easy steps:

Step 1: Signup for an affiliate account with Webcams.com
Step 2: Read our RSS feed instructions (Click here to read the instructions)
Step 3: Do creative layout and design implementing these feeds for the following:
-Template page displaying a list of online models
-Each model on the page should link to a Model profile template
Step 4: Submit each entry by posting a link to it in this thread.
Step 5: Get $$$


All entries must be submitted by May 18th at 11:59pm PST. Submit entries by linking to this thread. The first 20 acceptable entries with both template pages win $50. You can only win once in the duration of this contest. We will choose the top 5 designs and GFY will vote for the best in a separate thread.

Rules:

What exactly qualifies as an entrance?

Each entry must include a list of online models with links to a feed based profile page and Webcams.com free guest chat. Entries must be styled uniquely with its own look and feel (e.g. no vanilla background color or font color changes only)

Can one person submit multiple entries?

Yes, multiple submissions are allowed. However, you can only win the $50 entrance prize once.

How is a winner selected?

We will select the top 10 entries and do a GFY thread vote. The vote will choose the top 5 entrants. We will then allocate prizes based on our opinion of the winner.

How do I obtain my prize?

Winners are paid by Epassporte or Check. Our first and second place winners can also be paid by wire transfer.

I had that set originally, but I noticed I was getting a lot of "new model" placeholder pics with that setting.. and the milf category for example wasn't even filling up. There were only 2 or 3 on at any time that had free chat enabled, so I turned it off and got a lot more models...

and from what I could tell, if they don't have free chat and click the free chat link, it just says they're in a private chat and directs them to join.

Hmm.. we've usually got plenty on. In the sample #1 listed above, thsoe are all free chat, and theres usually quite a few online. Most of the time we have around 500 models online, and about half have free guest chat enabled.

Great idea, $50 per template is not a bad price at all, to get a variety of designs in a short period. If I have "extra" time in the next few days (HA!) I'll make an entry. :thumbsup

It is a GFY vote to choose the top 5 nominations. We choose which are the best from those 5 that GFY picks. We did it this way to prevent exactly what you suggested from happening :)

Here's my entry. Kept it all a bit simple cause it's the first time I work with RSS. Thought it would be hard but it wasn't after all :)

Any type of changes can be done, just ask.

i don't understand what they're going to do with these templates - isn't the whole idea behind RSS so that webmasters can use the feeds and work them into their own website's design - what's the purpose of these designs being submitted to the contest?

Yes, you can work them into your own websites design, or start from scratch and build out your own camsite. Either way, the purpose is to show people how quick and easy it is to implement these feeds into one's own design
