Ebay and adult domain auctions

I put up an Ebay auction for a Foot Fetish domain (Got toes.com) and Ebay kicks it off two times because I didn't put it in the Adult category?

WTF,,They have lots of adult domain auctions not the the adult section?

How long was it up?... More specifically was the auction nearly over?

If so, the solution (assuming you kept a list of the bidders) is to contact the top bidders directly and negotiate a sale outside of Ebay...

I've done that a few times in situations in which my Ebay auctions were pulled for stupid reasons (bidders using stolen accts, complaints over copyright, etc) - I've learned to keep a copy of the current bidders so if Ebay pulls the auction, I'm often still able to complete the sale ... a hassle when it happens, but on the bright side, I save the commission.

It was up for one day, with one bid. I didn't get the bidders ID, next time I will. Thanks for the tip:thumbsup

Call me naive, but I don't agree with them saying it's an adult domain. It could be, but there's tons of salons putting up websites and there's tons of foot products out now.

Wow.. interesting.

I agree with Pamieb

how can they say that is an adult domain? is a domain judged based on the site it is linked to or judged on keyword?

like, would 'thehun.com' be classed as an adult domain ?

how about 'nakedtruth.com' ?

just curious how they make the decisions
