who uses NETBILLING?

thinking of moving to a merchant account and need some details from those who have atleast a year or two experience with them. Thanks for your time in advance. :)

Anna_Miller 05-20-2008 09:16 AM

We have been with them for 9 years. They have always been great. No problems. I can't say that about any other software company we work with.

Ycaza 05-20-2008 10:08 AM

you will find that working with mitch is one of the best experiences in porn

LadyMischief 05-20-2008 10:17 AM

Ok, say for example a small proggie processes 20-25,000 a month, how many chargebacks can you get, and what are the consequences? I figure I would ask here so others might want this info as well.

NETbilling 05-20-2008 09:45 PM

Hi,

If you receive under 100 Visa or 50 Mastercard chargebacks per month and are under 1%, you will not have any problems. It takes both to hit the chargeback monitoring program where you can be fined.

venus 05-20-2008 11:12 PM

We have used netbilling exclusively since 1999, great company who has only gotten better over the years.

banks are not looking to kill off merchants for going a bit over on the chargebacks, as long as you are working to get them down the bank will work with you and even give you advice on getting them down (at least mine did)

chargebacks are pretty easy to manage, I went years with less then a 1/4 percent chargeback, granted now, they are going up due to the economy, but its not a big issue as long as you work to keep them down.

Honestly I think everyone should use Netbilling.

More reasons than Netbilling itself.
The more way's you can transact the better ratios you will make.

Leaning on 1 or 2 processors is fine but you are still leaving money on the table not matter how ya look at it, most of the out of box solutions do cascading and provide as many options as possible to make a transaction occur.

It's a numbers game with risk. Shorten risk with more processors or expand it but either way at least ya will have more options!

Thank you for the compliment Venus and it has been a pleasure serving you all of these years. Because you manage your business properly and do not try to rip off the surfer, you are able to be profitable and maintain a low chargeback ratio. Good move!

Thanks, Mitch

You simply cannot go wrong with Netbilling.

YOU control the risk you want to take.

you can tighten or loosen the fraud controls as you see fit.

their call center is fantastic and well trained.

the rates are substantially lower then using third party.

Our conversions are higher.

they are easy to work with

they have awesome tools and interface.

It has been a win win for nearly 10 years.

they are steady, consistent, honest, and hard working.

We use Netbilling and are more than happy with the results. Mitch's team is top notch! :)

Guess I should point out a few reasons..

1) You save 3-7% so 20k a month you'd make an extra $600 in your pocket.
2) Support, all have 24/7 phone help, not all let you get techs on icq though.
3) Better interface and api
4) Prechecked Crosssales with others that have merchant accounts
5) You have your credit card #'s
6) Cross-sales, you can set them up yourself and change pricing etc on the fly
7) Ability to bill any amount, and any # of transactions (Webcams) or Upgrades without the user having to re-enter their card.

I'm sure I could list more.

I personally think CCbill is a great solution and should also be used, never put all your eggs in one basket.

Wow, thanks everyone for the great input. Funny this might be the first time a biz thread was made without the company getting flamed by someone. Guess I have my answer. :)

ManHuntSteve 05-23-2008 10:13 AM

I've worked with Netbilling on several fronts with Pridebucks, and have nothing but nice things to say about them.

Hi,

No - $20k for an offshore merchant account and $10k for a US one. Tangibles have no minimum.

Thanks

Lots of great reasons already mentioned that I don't need to repeat... I will just sum it up this way; everyone who likes to make more money and work with true professionals uses them. :2 cents:

Mitch's company, Netbilling is fantastic, and his crew is top notch.

Mitch is also an excellent dancer, can drum better than the Def Leppard guy before the arm came off, he has many leather bound books, and their office smells of rich mahogony.
