this tax is a joke.. so many people will go offshore with their businesses..

California should offer tax BREAK incentives to get new businesses, not screw the ones who already are there.

Why not add 25% tax to anything that silicon valley produces? Jerks.

The budget deficit is projected to be $17 billion (approx. $500 per person in the State).

The estimated income from the "porn tax" is estimated to be $700 million.

There is really no reason for the porn tax, other than the politicians think that they can get away with it (unlike the tabacco tax, which is partly used for anti-smoking education).

First they need to figureout how to manage their funds. Adding more taxes when you dont have your house in order is like dumping money in the toilet.

Plus all the big players will operate offshore, only the little worker bees will be slapped with the burden.

Now when you go to the titty bars, the girls will be like honey I am trying to help the government hahahah :).
