Just curious how many of you around here promote sponsors in any way, (be it small or large) via use of a blog?

I'm not really big into blogging, but one of my blogs makes up a big percentage of my income.

most of my inventory are blogs.... but i do have some cj, image sharing sites, and hubs...

Got quite a few. Mostly horrible sploggy blogs. Good for about a sale a day, and a few free sales. Guess I can't complain about that. At least I don't have to maintain them at all.

Grampland.com started life as a tgp. It is now a TGP/BLOG/TUBE/DIRECTORY

Yes and no. I have over 30 blogs and none point to a sponsor. I use blogs to promote sponsors but don't link directly to them from them...

I noticed i've been passing it around to my mainstream friends quite a bit because you've had a few "cool" celebs on it...

Adult and Mainstream traffic in the palm of your hand.. a little trickier but more possible potential..

And word of mouth is huge with celebs and their pictures.. it's socially acceptable to want to see Whitney from the Hills tits..

Depends. I've got almost twice as many but I'm pretty sure PR0's blogs are more than twice as good as mine :D

I just started one blog recently and it already has made me some sales to my clips store and to sponsors, so I am certainly encouraged to create more.

You need a LOT of blogs just to make few hundred a month and have to put many hours in updating them properly and promotion them. Blogs are for the mom's basement crowd.

I'm bucking the trend and leaving blogs for static sites again.

I started as a webmaster doing what is now know as a blog.

So many of you have no clue as to what a real blog is.....

I started out as E/N webmaster (E/N means everything and nothing at all) Do you know of any true E/N sites anymore?

Classic examples.... the old consumptionjunction front page, stile project, mental ernie, red brain...

these sites were the true definition of blogs before blog was a word, everything now is just rss feed fodder and the same from site to site.

Be original, post your own thoughts, do something lil different. Stand out from the rest.

Think you can do it.... prove it and I'll share some true E/N, old school blog links with you
