Bomb detonates in Resturant In the UK
 

Anti-terrorist officers and security services are assisting police after an explosive device detonated in a restaurant in Exeter.

The device exploded at 1250GMT on Thursday in the Giraffe restaurant at the Princesshay shopping centre.

Jesss.. this sucks hope this is a one off and not a new trend starting over here in the UK Its kinda strange to happen in Devon and not London

Last time I was in London coming back to my hotel from dinner my taxi driver just gave up and turned off the meter because of all the detours he had to take because of all the bomb threats..

Sucks that one actually went off! Fuckin idiots..

A man who was arrested after the explosion is believed to be a local convert to Islam, police sources say.

It was revealed the man in custody has injuries which include lacerations to his eye and some facial burning.

Mr Otter said: "The injured man had one of the explosive devices on him, which partially went off. The other, in the vicinity of the restaurant, did not go off."

Eyewitness Peter Lacey, who was in the restaurant with his wife, told BBC News: "There were three explosions. It is my impression they sounded more like gunshots than a bomb, like a lightbulb exploding.

"They came from a locked toilet."

Summary:

The guy is a wannabe who converted, then tried to bomb a resturant, and hurt himself with one of the devices... in the bathroom..

Yeah they are lucky only one of them partially went off and the second device which they found in the resturant did not go off.
