Will be there with the wife this week end. Any clubs that have good techno DJ Tiesto kind of stuff or good stuff in general where 2 middle aged gringos can go without getting mugged or shot at?

I hated going to clubs in NYC!!! They pull this bullshit... they don't let anyone in to create a line out side to make it look happening. When you get in there is like 5 people! And if you're a single guy fuck it, you aint getting in unless you buy a bottle of shitty wine for $200, or pay for one of the women in line to go in with you.
Its not like the west coast where you can see in either. It'll be a door with the doorman
acting like he's king shit.
There was one cool club that you may like, I can't recall the name but it was in the meat packing district around the corner from coyote ugly.
