Today i bought a yellow watermelon
 

Green on the outside but yellow on the inside. Ever seen that before?

Actually, no I have not seen that! It's a watermelon or some crossbreed modern thing? Kinda creepy sounding.

Its a normal watermelon. Tastes the same, just bright yellow on the inside.

They're pretty common. They've been around for as long as I remember.

Never ever seen them anywhere in any country. Not sure how you can call them pretty common.

Maybe I should say pretty common in the US. I've lived in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Indiana, Washington state and New Jersey. They've always been available in grocery stores, roadside produce stands and farmers markets.

During the summer my great-grandmother ate almost nothing but watermelon and yellow ones were her favorite.

Want to try something great. Take some of the yellow, remove seeds if any, coat in breading, and deep fry it.

Does the watermelon happen to have a nipple on the outside of it? If so it is really a titty!

They are not uncommon here in Florida. They taste like regular watermelon, but the color is deceiving.

That looks weird as hell, i love watermelon but we only have the red kind here in Australia afaik. Ill try and hunt some down next time im in the states

I have eaten those yellow ones, they taste just about the same as the red ones....

all the watermelons in the middle east are yellow. Red ones are strange over there.
