Pornstars and their domains
 

Hi there all


A question about domain names, which im sure has been asked before, so bare with me please

I use a pornstars name to run a AVS site. The domain name is a .org, as that particular pornstar already owned the .com one.

I received a letter today demanding the domain name back

Can her team now request the domain name from me? They had the opportunity to buy the name well before I did, but the choose not to, and only by the .com. How does one stand in these situations?

Or do I have little choice but to hand back?

Any advice would be welcome

yeah, your pretty much screwed on this one man. give the domain back. Its like this...her name is her livelyhood...its her trademark...its sort of like if you register sony.org...sony may have screwed up and not registered it, but that doesnt mean you can benifit from their good name.

Now only shot you have here is if your name actually matches the pornstars name...which I highly doubt

Perhaps if i change by deed pool ;) ?

Yeahe back and avoid any I guess you lucked out on this one. Give the name back and avoid any problems.:( :(
