never quite understood how a misspelled word is a 'great domain'.

I think it's even money whether the average american will type it as obedient or obediant.

Agreed, that's why it is a great domain. The average person does not know how to spell the word, especially with its pronunciation...

If it gets traffic then great, but if not, what good is it? One would have to be an idiot to develop a site on a typo domain... heh
