Something that annoys me about sponsors/sales reps
 

You open a thread or read someone elses thread asking about a specific feauture and which sponsors have this.
There are a bunch of sales reps here who will ALWAYS respond with "yeah we've got that, hit me up". They don't even read what it is they just type that and go to the next thread to spam.
So you hit them up, he/she has no clue what you're talking about. You point him out to the thread and he will say "yeah just sign up and look in the member area" let me know if you need something else. Ofcourse once you're signed up there is nothing to be found. You hit him up again and the you'll get the "oh man, i'm sorry, i thought we had that feautre...let me see what i can do for you". Thats the last time you heard from him.

In the meantime if that lying moron piece of shit wouldnt just have random spammed his crap i would actually already be halfway a new site where i use that specific feature from a non bs sponsor. Smell what i'm cooking?

I think it's time for a special area on here or a site where all those idiots will be mentioned including the crap they talk. So you simply know who to deal with and who not.

I hate the BS excuse that "they were swamped yesterday, didn't have a chance to get your links".

A reps only job is to do these little tasks like setting things up for affiliates. A dozen or so 10 minute jobs in any given day that get put off. It's always such a shock when you get a rep who hits you up, says he has something.. 5 mins later sends you a zip.. and a "anything else?" The majority of the time it takes 3 days and 5 icq messages just to get a psd.

sales reps are idiots, there is no point in talking to them whatsoever.

hahaha yeah that sucks, let me just say this. We have nothing. I don't even have a fucking gallery posted. Yeah I Have them but none are posted. You want a banner? Make it yourself. You want pics? Well I will give you a pass to the members area and you can get your own. You want clips? Make them from the members area but no longer then a minute. hahaha

ohh i had that so many times. With a lot of people.
But hee.. they are working on it... ( smoke another blunt ya guys, go to some more webmaster meetings to network with other sponsors, avoid webmasters they complain to much anyway... hell why do they call it webmaster meetings? )

The most annoying thing to me is how EVERY SINGLE PROGRAM comes into threads about conversions being down with "Oh shit, we just had our best month ever!" or "Our ratios just got better this year!".

You'd think we'd all be converting at 1:10 with how awesome every company improves every month.

How about when you post a thread looking for a specific niche, and a rep comes in like "we don't have that, but we have _________" - what's the point? To annoy me?

All I remember about sales reps is that they know how I could make more money with them .... LOL ... they must be crazy telling this to me.

My beef is just people not reading the thread and responding in a totally inappropriate manner, whether it is an affiliate rep or not.

Unfortunatly, it seems like many reps are like this (the same thing happened to me at least 5 times), but the good news is that there are plenty of other good sponsors.
