There are lots of positives and negatives to our industry but what keeps eating me alive is the lack of quality sites to promote.

Every time a new program opens up you see their announcement thread:

TOTALLY NEW!! HOT ORIGINAL CONTENT!!! CHECK OUT OUR SITES:

- backdoor girls
- sluts who like cum
- her first time *****
- college coeds being ****
- real horny housewives
- mature women we pick up off the street (for real)

It's all the same thing. Aside from dating and cam programs you really have to dig to find something that your surfers will really go for. I'm talking general AND niched traffic. You'll find one or two quality unique sites that convert well and the rest are all poor clones.

At first I thought that getting lots of traffic was the big challenge but now I see that having enough quality items (sites) to sell them is even more of one.

I'm just ranting ....

Any suggestions then? Studies? plans?

I hear ya though, once everybody got on the build-a-big-network bandwagon, it's been downhill as far as production quality per site is concerned, naturally.

Well, look at Carlos' post. That kind of thing is what I'm talking about. I don't know if the site will do well but at least there is an effort there to try something new and unique. And actually the key word in that last sentence is 'effort' since creativity does require lots of it.
