What is up with ePassporte?

Nearly Four Months now we have tried to get an account so that people buying ad space on X-Digg, can pay us using ePassporte - So many have requested this option! So first they tell us we need a business account, okay so thats what Peter, one of the owners, did, after almost 3 months we FINALLY get approve , they find the wire payment that they could not find, yad-yada. Then While we held our Banner space auctions we let people use the ePassorte option to pay us for their ad space. WELL SURPRISE - if you have a business account, people with personal accounts can't pay you (- is that the dumbest thing you ever heard! That is like having a Credit Card Processing account, but you can only take credit cards from business - not the public.)

Now the owner trying to handle this is pulling his hair out, They ask the same dumb question over and over again - you email the answer and they email back the same question.
Where is the answer?, is there another company we can use that is diversely accepted by the adult industry, especially European webmasters? Why does everyone like / use a company that seems to have such high rates and fees?

I will not say they don't care, one person named Larry, has reportedly tried his best, but is bound by others at ePassporte. Is there an ePassporte Rep that watches the boards, can they assist, or is ePassporte just a lost cause?

All I know from the support stand point, I can't assist many of the webmasters whom are restricted to using ePassporte - and have lost a good deal of $, for my company (and my bonus) in the past month or so because of this.

If you are a payment provider that is widely supported by adult webmasters & will allow X-Digg to accept payment for ad spaces, and also allow us to develop an API for use in our new online auction area, please email us at adsales +@+ x-digg.com

Sorry if this seems like a rant, we just need a way to make these sales work.

lol - I don't want to, We at X-Digg would prefer all run smooth, but if that many people are complaining is there an issue we should worry about?

Michael O is on the board here, and has taken care of all of my issues, even when passed off to the aforementioned Larry.

It's basically a 'no checks and balances' system, but, if they won't, they won't.

I also think it's kind of stupid that a corporate account can not receive payments from a user, but it's just as easy to use your corporate account to create a sub-account and use it for incoming.

I think the idea is that business accounts only deal in cleared cash amounts. Payments from personal accounts may be sourced from CCs and could therefore be charged back months later. That limitation works just fine if you only want to pay affiliates, but not if you want the Average Joe Webmaster buying something from you. Perhaps epass is hoping that everyone who makes money in the industry will open a business account. :Graucho
