A new survey out today indicates that quadriplegics aren't unhappy...

Recently a seminar was put on by a top doctor in the field in which 500 quadriplegics sat in the audience. When all were asked by the doctor to raise their hand if "being a quadriplegic had made their life more difficult and unhappy" not one hand was raised out of the 500 in attendance, concluding that 100% of quadriplegics are happy and content.

was this supposed to be funny?

I believe it was, since they couldn't raise their hands even if they wanted to what with being quadriplegics...

Many quads actually can, despite the definition.

I can believe it they are constantly surrounded by people being positive telling them how great they are doing and how great everything is blah blah blah..

also I bet they are on good meds..
