You do realize it's CONGESS that passes tax codes changes not the president.

pretty much a propaganda piece, both will raise your taxes. Because the reality is that we can no longer pay for this warfare/welfare state, we are about at the end of our credit line with other nations and we cant print too much more money because the dollar is at about the bottom.

We have 50+ TRILLION dollars that needs to be payed out starting in 2013. If we taxed all the "rich" 100% we still could not pay off that 50+ TRILLION. We are screwed.

this is also average tax bill - Your particular situation can be a whole lot different than that depending on how you invest/where the income came from.

Basically under Obama plan no one making under $600K a year is getting a tax increase and personally if you make more than that like i give a fuck about you. If you can 't live on over $600K get another job.

Looks like I'll have to get over Hilary and vote anyway. McCain would bankrupt the nation.

McCain will save the average Joe about $300 a year and make it sound to them like he is saving them half their paycheck...

I don't see how our nation will be able to recover from this. It will take one of the most amazing governmental comebacks in history to keep us from being the next USSR.

mccain taxes the rich less, so i vote for mccain, the other 99% of gfy votes for the black person

umm no, it comes down to this, i would pay more taxes if the black person was president, than if the white person was, so ill vote for the white person

do you understand economics? if you do, then i am sure you understand that saving money in taxes doesnt do much good if the prices of everyday goods outweighs your tax savings...

the US has amassed so much debt that its going to take several measures to get ourselves out of this hole (deficit)....

first, we need to hold congress accountable..

both democrats and republicans are making huge profits off the war and because of this, both parties are squashing any inquires into fraud and abuse of taxpayer money...

if you didnt listen to Dennis Kucinech articles of impeachment on cspan, you only need to think about or look up the following:

charging the govt. 5-100 times plus what the actual cost is.. there are too many items to list, but in summary, contractors under cost plus contracts are charging ridiculous amounts for services and goods relating to the war..

all the while, congress members (both democrats and republicans) are making fortunes in kickbacks and investments in the contractors companies...

either american people are going to wake up and do something (i doubt it) about it or stop your whining and face facts, we (US) are no longer the economic super power we once were and never will be again...
