Nice win for Portugal yesterday. Fell asleep partway through the Sweden-Turkey game, Swedes were winning 1-0 in a waterfest... was surprised to see Turkey came back to win it. Did they have to canoe their way to those goals?

Someone got heavily owned.

what i notice about alot of teams is when they are leading with a mere 1-0 with about an hour to play, they completely fall back in the defense and try to stop the constant attacks of their opponent... and its only a matter of time for the goal against them. Croatia also had this flaw in their game, especially after their 2nd goal... so annoying. They play pretty good when they really want to score.

Germans were favored, nice win for Croatia.

Croatian immigrants that live here in Winnipeg are calling in to the local rock radio station right now to rave about the win. Some are obviously pretty off the hook ecstatic about this.
