New York is the greenist city in the US.
While it produces the most green house gasses and garbage per foot, it produces the lowest per capita, mostly because it's a highly crowded city and a lot of people walk everywhere... Just watched the short documentary "Green Apple" and those green buildings they've put up (and are putting up) are pretty cool...
Anyone have money for research? If someone could find a way to build solar energy collectors (i.e. like solar panels) as tiny "dots" right into the glass that they use for the high rises, it would be a huge money maker. |
