New York is the greenist city in the US.

While it produces the most green house gasses and garbage per foot, it produces the lowest per capita, mostly because it's a highly crowded city and a lot of people walk everywhere... Just watched the short documentary "Green Apple" and those green buildings they've put up (and are putting up) are pretty cool...

Anyone have money for research? If someone could find a way to build solar energy collectors (i.e. like solar panels) as tiny "dots" right into the glass that they use for the high rises, it would be a huge money maker.

Look into the printable solar cell technology that is working yet still in early production. Very thin, highly efficient, super low production costs, and you caught the printable part right?

That's looks like it's just based on an arbitrary ranking and has nothing to do with how many people actually live there and so isn't a true comparison. The video I watched was from last year... There's an article just out that based purely on carbon emisions alone (per person), the top 4 cities (in order) in the US are Honolulu, Los Angeles, Portland, New York.

New York is the city that started it all. New York DEFINES city. All other cities are just hamlets compared to the big apple!
