I took the political argument too far today and Im sorry. I got tired being verbally beat up by you and I put my sense decency aside. I was wrong, arguing on a board achieves nothing. Im going to stop talking politics on this board, I get too caught up in it. Again Im sorry i upset you it wont happen again.

One of the best tricks to "arguing politics" here is to avoid giving in to the driving urge to make everyone see things your way, because.... it ain't never gonna happen for you. Unfortunately too many here can't seem to help themselves. I'm not saying this is you, Tony.

Honestly if I thought Baddog wasn't voting for Obama based on skin color I would have called him on it months ago, but I've never seen any evidence in his posts that that's how he rolls. Accusing him of it was definitely out of line.

That's why Im not doing it anymore here or at home. I see the debates with my father escalating and don't want another going in for the kill moment like I did here. Im ashamed of what I said and I hope baddog can find it in his heart to forgive me.

Stop worrying about your post count. Sit on your posts for 24 hours, go back and read where the discussion is then, and THEN maybe make your post/start your thread. It will keep you from having to apologize and being on Bromasters as the "Tony404 Bot Software" (paraphrased) ;)

Im not worried about post count, since I'm used to working with lots of people this replaced the water cooler for me. The problem is I get too caught up sometimes when I argue and get upset.It's stupid on my part.
I have had at least 5 people add me to their icq and their first im to me is I really enjoy your posts. So I have to be doing something right but no more arguing for me.
Also just because I dont talk about illegal tubes anymore doesnt mean I dont think that they arent seriously hurting the industry. :winkwink:

There's always someone who questions your intelligence and it just escalates from there.

Nominating the most liberal person in the senate 2 elections in a row is a pretty scummy thing of the dems to do. In 2000 they ran a moderate and got 500,000 more votes than Bush, in 2004 they ran a super liberal and got 3.5 million votes less than Bush. They don't care about winning.. they care about getting exactly what they want. They are every bit as selfish as the republicans. If McCain wasn't going to bankrupt the country by taxing less and spending more I would vote for mcCain too.
