Regional billing , Who else now charges in EROU$$

FTV girls is now charging in EROU$ for some joins that's a whole $14.00 per join more than USD$ Those of you with European traffic will be making allot more bank with programs changing to this billing system.
Programs that have this system in place please spam here or contact me via ICQ 77762980.
Those few of you left who don't have a FTV girls account yet see sig.

Yup regional billing is tits. Euro$ turns our 27.95 charge to around 41 to 43.00 USD. I likey!

I actually own two Euro only sites and am considering doing more, especially because the Europeans are starting to crack down on Tube and Share sites.

It's like this:

about 45-50% of traffic still US based, but if you charge 10 euros (1 Euro = 1 $ from the point of view of a European surfer), that's almost 16 bucks right now for us, so with 50% of traffic/signups you typically still make only 25% less after all. Having French or German previews helps too.

I don't do any affiliates there and generate all traffic myself. I don't submit a lot to TGPs either, they become more and more pointless, here and there.

Also, many Europeans do not own or use credit cards, so offering bank draft and telephone billing is essential.

Regional billing is good for the webmaster, but not so good for the member... not all of them are idiots, they can see that the effective price has been jacked up...

They are still paying 29.95 in their money, we get a bit more on the exchange :thumbsup

DefaultMan 06-14-2008 07:02 PM

Some are smart enough to work out that paying EUR29.95 isn't the same rate they're used to paying when a site charges then in USD. If every site had oddball pricing then it would be a lot harder to notice, but with common industry price points such as 19.95 or 24.95 it's going to be easier to see the discrepancy. :2 cents:

I love regional billing and use it on my sites. :thumbsup

Does anyone think this harms sales enough that it reduces profit?

I dont think it has, but would love to see what others think.

GrouchyAdmin 06-14-2008 08:38 PM

I think it's time we all start charging in Prinubian nickles. I control the entire reserve, but I promise an 80% cut.

It's easier to just do it and make more money than sitting around hemming and hawing about what can happen if you do it.

Have serious thread come a thing of the past on GFY?
I cant see how this type of billing is a negative but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

its not negative. we have seen absolutely no drop in our european signups.

Shoplifter 06-14-2008 11:47 PM

We do, but we have it set for a more realistic and saleable/rebillable exchange rate.

Hit my sig.

NETbilling 06-15-2008 01:20 AM

Hi,

We have several merchants using regional billing through their own merchant accounts using NETbilling. Are you running merchant accounts though us as well?

Thanks, Mitch

DutchTeenCash 06-15-2008 03:11 AM

we do

euro signups are like $44.00 now :)

Bake 06-15-2008 06:37 PM

So no one has seen a drop in sales by charging in $Euro

cybermike 06-15-2008 06:39 PM

Here is a negative,

I have seen an increase in my Euro sales without it.
I'm not fucking with it.
