Questions - THE HULK - *SPOILERS*

Ok so I just saw the movie & it was actually pretty good... my comic history is off some so I didn't really understand the ending. I have a few questions... help me out

Did the grey monster die or what? He just left the thing there right?

I'm assuming that MR. BLUE is probably going to be the grey hulk in the next movie?

Last, what was Tony Starks talking about when he said "We're putting together a team"?

Exact same questions I'd like to know as well

He's hinting at The Avengers.

1) I'd assume the military carted him off to perform research on, etc...

2) Nope. He'll be 'The Leader'. You can tell as his head/brain was seen throbbing and growing in the movie here when he got some of Emil's blood in a cut on his forehead.

3) The Avengers, which should come out after the individual characters get introduced with their own movies (Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Ant Man and Captain America)

The Hulk being instrumental to the formation of The Avengers isn’t actually a new idea — in fact, it’s precisely the reason the team formed way back when Stan Lee and Jack Kirby first started the comic in 1963. Leterrier wanted to make sure he gave the next “Avengers” captain, whether it be him, Jon Favreau, or someone else, the same opportunity.

“That’s why I left the door open for whoever’s going to direct ‘The Avengers’ with our last shot. Edward and I, we consciously decided to make the last shot of the movie when he opens his eyes and he smirks at the camera,” Leterrier said. “Is he enjoying it? Is he malicious? That’s what’s great about Edward. You don’t know if he’s a good guy or bad guy. He’s always on this edge and we’ve been sort of surfing that edge, that very thin edge during the entire movie.”

“So that last shot of the movie, if you decide that he’s smiling, in control, then he’s a good guy, that’s ‘The Hulk 2,’” he continued. “If Hulk is a failure, then he looks up and smirks and that’s eventually the Hulk of the Avengers — the uncontrollable beast that they need to team up to stop.”

“The Avengers” movie is tentatively scheduled for 2011, and that’s plenty of time to figure it out, Leterrier said. And the best way to do that? Let the fans decide, he said.

While on the subject, why do you figure they didn't make the Tony Stark scene after the credits, like the Sam Jackson scene was in Iron Man?

It seems it should have been after the credits here as well to keep the consistency.

because they wised up and figured out, only 10% of the audience stuck around the credits to SEE Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury in IRON MAN to talk about " a TEAM"..why they did that is beyond me..even if people know that there's some more movie after the credits..hardly anyone gives a shit, because they have to piss so bad

Bingo..also the Super solider formula they introduced in Hulk is part of the Capt. America origin..but this is MARVEL doing these movies themselves after watching Hollywood take all the money from Spiderman, X-men..they said fuck this shit...now they are a major force in Hollywood w/ Ironman doing over 1/2 billion worldwide..

also look for the Wolverine movie, by Marvel which will introduce, Deadpool and spin-off X-facter
