That's pretty sick...

Sly 06-16-2008 11:13 AM

That's pretty crazy. I honestly think over the next 10 years we are going to see some crazy new energy supplies. Some of the things you catch wind about every now and then simply below your mind what scientists are doing. Simply amazing.

ProducerCashDave 06-16-2008 11:18 AM

Lets just hope it makes the gas prices cheaper

No chance... :disgust

Sly 06-16-2008 11:21 AM

One thing I thought that was interesting was how they said it would take the side of Chicago to produce enough fuel for the country... that may be true, but I'm sure this could also be stacked upon many floors. We have a lot of space available to us across the country, land that isn't being used and can't be used for a variety of reasons. This could make use of that space.

The Duck 06-16-2008 11:27 AM

0 point energy extraction is the way to go.

Kudles 06-16-2008 11:28 AM

Why would you want gas prices to get cheaper? Everytime the gas price rises I get a little bit more happy. People must realize that they cannot simply drive everywhere and get their lazy fat ass up to ride their bikes or simply walk.
Higher gas prices also means less idiots on the highway which means less accidents and traffic jams and therefore I get faster from A to B. :321GFY

Imortyl Pussycat 06-16-2008 11:33 AM

So then you don't really want people to get off their ass and exercised, you really just want less trafficked highways ?

CaptainHowdy 06-16-2008 12:10 PM

Crazy stuff indeed...

spacedog 06-16-2008 12:17 PM

That's cool..

Alot of alternatives to gasoline powered vehicles have been around for decades.. It's fucking amazing that a hydrogen powered vehicle has not been developed until 2008 considering the technology has been available and known since the 50s, maybe even earlier.

Electric powered motors have also been available for several decades as well.. the only reason you don't see thousands of electric powered cars being sold and on the road is because the oil companies did not allow it to happen...

M0nk 06-16-2008 12:27 PM

cool! we just found another race to banish!!

u-Bob 06-16-2008 12:29 PM

cool shit :)

Dollarmansteve 06-16-2008 01:32 PM

amazing how economics works.. $20 a barrel oil = no investment in new energy technologies...

Art Del Gado 06-16-2008 01:57 PM

wow thats pretty interesting :thumbsup

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 06-16-2008 02:04 PM

I bet it would be a good thing to have this bacteria get loose and begin ravaging entire regions...

this bacteria could be fucken deadly to the environment. I wonder why no mention of that was amde in the artical. This is the near same bacteria that also simply lives inside the intestines of many mammals symbiotically.

Wouldnt be so symbiotic if the fucken thing makes Petrol inside animals and for that matter people.

The shit reads more like a military weapon than anything else.

pornguy 06-16-2008 02:17 PM

Would love to buy some stock in that company.

tranza 06-16-2008 02:22 PM
