XBiz is on the rise, the show is kickin' ass.

We just locked in a brand new venue for the Players Ball, it's called Asia. VERY VIP, lot's of nice tables and booths, very upscale.

Now here's the cross road D$ just hit.

Players Ball or Rock The Ball?

With the recent success of last years Rock The Ball with Metal Skool in Vegas 1 year ago and the Rock The Ball at Cybernet Expo last week, I'm thinking of doing my first hybrid event.

Why not mix both worlds?

We're looking into having Smash Up Derby come back for an encore performance for the "rock" part. I'm also looking into some hip hop artists or perhaps a really good funk band.

Until I make the final decision, go ahead and book your trip for the XBiz Summer Forum.

So far we have Pussycash as the main sponsor and CEcash as our co-sponsor, with extra support from AsianDivaGirls and AEBN. Thanks again guys!

Do not cross those brands. I would highly recommend not doing that.

If anything do the rock the ball, and have a dj before or after play what people want to hear.

Just my opinion.

Whichever way it goes D$ will have the ball kicking ass. I think the hybrid ball idea is great. Matter of fact I have a slogan for you to use D$: "Rockin' The Ball For All The Players"

would definitely be dope for a hip hop / rock mix, especially if you could get the 2 performers to combine on a song and maybe do a Rap Metal song.

I'm thinking she saw the word "Forum" in XBIZ Forum and mistakenly thinks it's a message board forum.

You could do a Rock The Ball with a band like (hed) PE, rock with a good amount of rap and influences from other kinds of music

I was talking to Adrian, the lead singer of Smash-Up Derby, and it turns out that he's a big fan of E40 (who you were previously mentioning as a possible headliner for your next event in Las Vegas).

You know me, I still think Dave Navarro or Tommy Lee are good picks too, since they have both rock and porn credentials, but I'm sure it will be cool with whomever you select.

BTW, I felt that the DJ sounds at Rock the Ball in San Francisco meshed perfectly with the live band, so a mixed Ball might be good - a little something for everybody.

This already has the makings of another D-Money legendary Las Vegas adult industry party... :drinkup

You need to stick with Rock the Ball and phase out the Player's Ball.

While I am more of a rocker, I think the hybrid rock-rap format brings a freshness to the event, and will draw the largest possible crowd, entertaining all, and exposing people to alternatives... :2 cents:

I enjoyed Asia when I was there last month (actually PH is a cool ass hotel all around). Nice choice for a venue, looking forward to it.
