I'm having ICQ issues on Trillian
 

Can someone recommend another IM plugin option that works better? Also, if you have been trying to contact me in the past 12 hours on ICQ and have not received a reply, please hit me up again. I have not gotten any of your messages.:Oh crap

Yeah, switch to Pidgin. Never looked back since.....

Stick with ICQ.

the only issue I have with pidgin is lately it keeps telling me im connected at another location drops me and then logs back on. I'm not the only one this is happening to but otherwise no complaints.

I'm using meebo right now since I'm not on my own computer, but even that is having issues loading icq. Just like trillian, it loads it but won't turn it on so I see everyone's number but I'm still offline. Arrgh

I'm experiencing trouble with ICQ from time to time lately! :disgust

what could be the reason?

i have paid for its Pro version, i hate to say I even tried Astra, feck it, QIP rules!

ICQ can get annoying

meebo, trillian and a number of other third party applications have assisted me in thinning out my contact list.

For that I am thankful.

I did know this and I have mumbled out loud a number of times about wondering how many 'youngsters' get all the Hitchhiker's references on the 'net with babelfish obviously also coming to mind.

I'm using trillian too ... tho it has several bugs I got attached to it. It's simple and all my history is there :)

meebo is a good option but just to talk, you can't exchange files!

My icq and aim are fine with trillian today. In fact I am showing more of the names than the numbers.

Trillan is pissing me off these days. Lots of quirks. I need an all in one replacement.

I find it amusing that people think an all-in-one solution is going to come bug free.

Trillian is still the best all-in-one... and I've tried them all.

i switched to meebo and its great. web based so you can access ur list anywhere www.meebo.com

Basically all these ICQ programs suck. The best one (that doesn't suck) is called Adium, but the downfall is it's only available for OS X at the moment.
