The Atlanta Forum announces rooms to go on sale Tuesday, June 24th at 2pm EST (11am PST)
- Show organizers anticipate show hotel to sell out in less than one day

Atlanta, Georgia ? June 19, 2008 -- Organizers of The Atlanta Forum today announced that the rooms at the official show hotel, W ? Perimeter Center, will go on sale this Tuesday, June 24th, at exactly 2pm EST (11am PST). This show is expected to be the largest, most attended, first-year show in the history of the industry.

?We are expecting the rooms in the show hotel to sell out fairly quickly?, Tony Morgan, CEO of The Atlanta Forum, LLC, said. ?Based on the amount of calls we are already getting, the number of sponsors that are lining up, and the fact that our sister show, The Phoenix Forum, saw their rooms disappear in less than an hour at the Spring show, we are anticipating a quick sell out?. When asked about overflow hotels Morgan replied, ?Overflow hotels are being negotiated with now and will be released as necessary to accommodate those who missed out on the show hotel. While they will be somewhat close to the event, they will not be the same caliber of the W and we will certainly not be able to get the same pricing considerations we did for taking over an entire property?.

To make registration easy, The W has set up a private web site for attendees of The Atlanta Forum to register online without having to deal with busy phones lines and over-worked reservationists. The link will be posted to The Atlanta Forum web site immediately when the room block is opened. There will also be a phone number posted for The W World Wide Reservations for those that would rather register over the phone.

The Atlanta Forum, a sister show to the infamous Phoenix Forum, will be held September 18-20, 2008 at The W Hotel, Perimeter Center, in Atlanta, Georgia. The show promises to be the most business focused show on the calendar with more educational choices, more networking opportunities, and more chances to do business coupled with true southern charm and hospitality only found in the South. For more information on rooms, attendance or sponsorships visit http://www.theatlantaforum.com

You got that right, Charlie! We are working with professional speakers to do some, if not all, of the seminars. For example, we have a true CPA that works with some of the largest companies in our industry lined up to do a seminar on the basics of reading a P&L Report and Balance Sheet, plus offering some tid bits on deductions that are perfectly legal in our industry that some of you may have never thought of before. So many of us use Quick Books to track our expenses but very few know how to actually read the reports that it generates!!

I am expecting our seminar schedule to rival any that has ever been offered in the industry.

Remember, this show is all about The BUSINESS of "The Business".

Actually working on getting a lot of that stuff up today and tomorrow. The schedule should be up this evening at the latest and the entire list of seminar topics should go up in the next 2 weeks.

Knowing that Phoenix Forum sells out the first day...... And knowing that National Net is top notch and will be putting on a good show..... I'm guessing that this will be the "must attend show" of the year and will quickly sell out.

<insert spam here lol>

XXX IronMan will be doing Beer Pong at Atlanta - National Net has been a supporter since day one - and we are so looking forward to it!

</end spam insert lol>

I assure you that you should absolutely bring contracts!! We are giving you plenty of opportunities to network and do business. It will be up to you to actually close the sale!

One of the things that drew us to this hotel was the amount of quiet spaces that it has to get away from the hustle and bustle of the show. Between the patio, the wet deck and the living room there are plenty of places to have a meeting or four ;)

I believe I'll be attending this, can't resist shows that are only a few hours flight from me instead of my usual 15-20 hour multiple connection adventures.

Not to mention I like new shows, and as a sister of the Phoenix Forum who are a supporter of our Costa Rica Bash, how can I miss it? :)

I cannot promise that 100% of the speakers will be from outside the industry but I am shooting for about 80-90%. For example, we are trying to put together a panel of domain experts and so many of the best ones originated in our world or at least have close ties that they might be considered "industry insiders".

I think when the seminar schedule is posted you will be pleasantly surprised ;)

quesadilla 06-20-2008 11:16 AM

i hate those seminars with industry know it alls jacking each other off. i would never go to one. bunch of people circle jerking each other. if someone like this show actually did the seminars with people who dont have dog in the race i would prob go. nothing worse than seeing a bunch of self voted pros talk bs that doesnt mean nothing.

good for you atlantaforum.

We are happy to have the XXX IronMan competition taking place at The Atlanta Forum. I know NationalNet has been involved since the beginning and we plan to continue that tradition. Rochard, we should probably get together soon and figure out where we want to put it on the calendar so that we can save the spot for you. Get with me next week and we will figure it out.
